Journey Into Self

 

Before you can be a part of any other relationship, be it personal or professional, you need to know yourself. Many people live their lives never delving into themselves and learning who they really are. So many people spend their days focusing on their to-do lists, doing what they need to get done to accomplish the many responsibilities of their every day lives. You need to add yourself to your to-do list. Making time to learn about your inner self can easily be the most rewarding item you get to check off your list. Some of the areas we cover as you Journey into Self:

  • Your Personality: By using various assessment tools, we will examine the aspects of your personality that make you unique and work on effectively managing your areas of weakness, determine areas for growth, and focus on capitalizing on your strengths.
  • Your Career: So many people are unhappy in their careers for so many reasons. Regardless of your position, all the money you make cannot provide you balance if all you do is work. Enjoying your work is just as important to your spirit as is making a good living is to your bank account. We will examine your career as it is today, look at previous positions and experience, and work on determining exactly the right fit for your personality, your values, and your dreams.
  • Your Hobbies: What do you do when you're not working? Do you enjoy your leisure time or is your off-work time just as hectic or stressful as your at-work time? I know many people who don't know what to do with their time and so sit mindlessly in front of the TV night after night, professing to being so tired they cannot do one more thing. Those people haven't found that one hobby that makes them yearn for more. Many people are bored with their lives. If this is you, we can wake you up to an exciting, enriching life experience.
  • Your Health: Of course you know all about eating right and exercising, but somehow haven't been able to be consistent. Maybe you start an eating plan or a fitness routine and it's great while it lasts a few days, weeks, or even months. But then something in life happens and you rationalize to yourself that "when this is over, I can focus on my health again." Working with me, we can uncover your mental barriers to staying on track, reach your health and fitness goals, and maintain your health for a strong body for a lifetime.
